Our story
Leo always dreamed of being a barber, but his reality was different. With only borrowed scissors and a chair in his backyard, he began cutting the hair of friends and neighbors for a few pesos. He didn’t have a shop or professional equipment, but his passion and dedication were undeniable. Each cut was an opportunity to improve and make a name for himself in the neighborhood.
After years of effort, Leo managed to rent a small space and founded The Latin Touch Barbershop. Although the pandemic put his business at risk, he found a way to adapt by offering home haircuts and selling hair care products. His focus on quality and friendly service earned him a loyal clientele. Little by little, he was able to improve his barbershop, hire his first apprentice, and turn his business into a point of reference in the community.
Today, The Latin Touch Barbershop is one of the most recognized in Raleigh. With a team of trained barbers and a modern space, this business offers not only cuts, but a complete experience. Big personalities and clients from all over seek his talent. But the most important thing for Leo is to never forget his roots: he continues to share his story to inspire others and provide opportunities to young barbers who, like him, once dreamed of a better future.
